Inchino al Friuli is a project by Italian cyclist Stef Ferigo, from the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The project wants to be a tribute to his region, which he is deeply in love with. His plan is to trip all over the territory on his bike and portray and share the beauties he meets with pictures and videos via Instagram and Facebook, creating a sort of "social media event".
He wanted a logotype for his project, but he was interested in featuring an image into it, too: an eagle, that is the symbol of FVG. Therefore I chose to design a calligram with the word "Friuli" inside the shape of the eagle.
I started drawing the logo by hand, then digitalized it with vectors and finally added colors.
